Thank and Think Nature Chakai 

偉大なる自然への献茶会

"Thank and Think Nature chakai" is my lifetime project to show my gratitude to the Great Nature through a cup of tea.

It has started since 2024 at Zushi beach in Kanagawa, Japan.

Japan is an island nation surrounded by the sea.

The sea gives us many blessings.

But now, the garbage we produce, such as microplastics, is polluting our precious ocean.

The creatures living in the sea are suffering. 

We all must protect the beautiful nature.

Ōbaku Baisa-Ryu fellows and our friends were gathering at the coast, dedicated a cup of green tea with our appreciation and respect to the ocean, pray for remaining this peaceful and beautiful nature. 

After the tea ceremony, beach clean-up were held by all participants.

Green tea is given by the circle of nature such as rich soil, rain and the air.

I do keep having this tea gathering at the sea, mountain and anywhere else to thank and think our Great Nature.
